Our pediatric services encompass your child’s entire general medical needs from infancy through adolescence, including: annual checkups; vaccinations; childhood illness diagnosis & management; eye, ear, nose and throat infections; asthma; sprains, broken bones & other injuries; healthy growth & development; sports physicals; and, urgent care.

For children, an annual “check up” can include vaccinations, as well as ensuring that they are growing and developing as they should. For teens, an annual physical can identify and address sensitive issues such as hormonal and body changes, acne, HPV & meningitis vaccines, eating disorders, depression and other emotional issues.

Our doors are always open to new patients. We also accept most major insurance plans; and for those without insurance coverage we offer a “cash-discounted” rate for self paying patients. It is with great sadness that we are faced with the untimely passing of beloved pediatrician Dr. George Hobeich. AMA Family Practice has acquired Hobeich Pediatrics, and is committed to honoring the memory of Dr. Hobeich by providing the same high standards of medical care and compassion that he offered the Tucson community for more than 35 years.

Child & Teen Check Ups

Children of every age, from infancy through adolescence, should have an annual health exam. This helps ensure parents that their child is up-to-date on all immunizations, and monitors children and teens’ growth and development. Check-ups also help identify any underlying or unseen health issues, including anemia, asthma, nutritional deficiencies, vision problems, hearing loss, and more – so that they can be caught and treated as soon as possible.

Sports Physicals

Whether your child engages in baseball, football, basketball, soccer, martial arts, cheerleading, volleyball, cycling, hockey, figure skating, gymnastics, track or other athletics, the school or organizer will likely require a “Pre-participation Physical Examination” (PPE) – commonly called a Sports Physical. A PPE can help minimize the risk of injury by ensuring that your child is healthy and physically ready to safely participate in their chosen activity.

Mohamed Coulibaly Dit Fall, MSN, FNP-C

Mohamed is a Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in traditional family practice combined with integrative care. He completed his Bachelor of Nursing at Grand Canyon University, then earned his Masters of Science degree at Northern Arizona University. He holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Mohamed began his career in healthcare at the age of 20, he has accumulated many years of experience and education in various areas of patient care including psychiatry, home health, rehabilitation, performance improvement and risk management, medical/surgical, and primary family care. He is also the founder and director of AMA Medical Services. Mohamed enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, scuba-diving, and traveling.

Lizbeth Guerrero, MS, FNP-C

Lizbeth Guerrero is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and licensed by the state of Arizona to provide family-centered care to patients of all ages. Lizbeth’s scope of practice encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, and diagnosis and management of common and complex healthcare problems beginning in childhood and continuing throughout the aging process.

Lizbeth began her career in healthcare at the age of 16 after graduating high school with a Nursing Assistant Certification. Since then she has accumulated over 20 years of nursing experience and education in various areas of patient care including home health, rehabilitation, medical/surgical, oncology, primary care, and medical aesthetics.

Lizbeth received the degree of Master of Science from Northern Arizona University, she is also certified in Bio-identical Hormone Therapy, Evidence-based Weight Loss, among many other specialties. Lizbeth’s unique combination of clinical education and experience allows her to help patients meet their goals by listening to their desires and then shaping an individualized treatment plan.

Joan Raso, LPN

Joan is an LPN with 30 years of experience providing home health in Tucson. The majority of that time has been spent in providing wound care and education to both patients and families. Her years of experience have given her insight into patients of all ages. Joan is a certified laser tech and certified injector. She is happiest when working with clients to help them achieve their goals.

Joan is dedicated to offering her knowledge, expertise and years of experience to ensure the highest standard of medical care in the most compassionate environment. Joan is a highly trained professional who will always put patient safety and comfort first. She is trained and licensed to provide you with the best possible outcome – and will always strive to exceed your expectations.
